I have received passport request and pre arrival at the same day. My eligibility says in progress after Jan 24 and there were numerous ‘updated’ in the tracker. My application process was done in NDVO. Does anyone know how many days it is taking for the passport to get back from NDVO?

Was that included in your sponsor approval letter? Just wondering if there is a second letter that just says application is moved.

In our sponsor approval it only said "The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to a visa office for further
processing.".. nothing about moving to NDVO.
At the bottom it said "Sincerely Case Processing Centre Sydney"

PA is in India. Does that mean our VO is Sydney, Nova Scotia?

CPC Sydney is the generic starting point from what it looks like.

If the location where it was forwarded doesn't show on your SA letter you'd have to call in an ask where it might be only they would know where it was actually sent to for further processing.

Are paper files getting processed slower compared to online (NDVO)?

The overall June averages seems to be very similar between paper and online.. average pre-arrival for online: 225days and paper: 207 days. Average passport request for online: 231 days and paper: 229 days.

Though in the tracking sheet, out of 13 applications that stated New Delhi as their VO, only one has received PPR... and that one application was paper based.
Out of those 13 applications, 8 are paper based and 5 are online based.

We also received the PPR on March 01 and submitted the passport on March 03 via VFS global. IRCC received it on March 07.
Have you got back your stamped passport yet?

Not yet. We submitted on March 3 and ircc received and is under process since March 7th. Did you?

No, I haven't received it yet. I received pre-arrival on Feb 16,2022 and that's it
