I got the same oath schedule for June 8th on the tracker, but yesterday it changed to May 27! It’s a Saturday. I wonder if it’s online or in-person

I've just noticed that my oath changed to May 25th. But they say that if you didnt get the official invitation (email), they are still planning your events.

Here is my timeline:
Office Montreal, paper application.
My 26, 2022: Application delivered
Jun 9, 2022: AOR
Jul 29, 2022: Invited for test
Aug 25, 2022: Test completed
Sep 7, 2022: Citizenship test changed to completed
Mar 6, 2023: Background verification completed
May 2, 2023: Language, Prohibition, Physical Presence completed, and decision made.

Does anyone know if there is a chance I can ask for an online certificate after the oath? And can I apply for a passport with the online certificate?

I need to travel in July and I am afraid I cannot get a passport by then.

You will get a paper one if they did not give you an option to go for e-certificate in the tesst invite email.
Yes you can get passport with e-certificate.

Thanks for the reply. I did my exam in August 2022 and they did not offer me an e-certificate. Do you know how long does it take to get a paper certificate after the oath and if there is a way for me to make it faster?

2-3 weeks. You can request it. They may or may not accept it. If your trip is very close they might ask you to reschedule your oath too.

I know!haha The problem is that I need a citizenship certificate urgently.

Had our oath on 8th. Tracker got updated to Closed on 10th.
And just a while back got our citizenship certificate as well.
The IRCC officials verifying our docs during oath seemed quite organized so not very surprised at the quick turnaround.
