dont scare me, my SOP is my only weapon ,, although my education is continuing in nature but its a graduate certificate after 1 yr adv diploma online from outside canada... but SOP is important to justify the education expense ...

Your education was in line with your course? can u tell which course was it and what were ur earlier education and experience? sometimes VO just finds an excuse to reject if they are not overall convinced with an application

Interesting, so you’re applying for a graduate certificate after a 1 year advanced diploma. Is your certificate course in the same major and a similar duration?

hey , yes actually my already finished 1 yr ad diploma is a requirement for the grad certificate i am going to start this Fall - it is even written on the letter of acceptance that my admission is conditional -i must complete my ad dip by July, which I did. And yeah its the same duration (1 yr) and almost same discipline..

I have applied for Project management PG certificate.. Which basically is in line with my work exp..

I am guessing my study gap was the problem..
Reapplied with a stronger SOP this time .. let’s see

if you were working for all the 6 yrs between your past education and till the point of applying then it shouldn't be a problem to justify it.. or may be your SOP wasnt so convincing,, 150 bucks for each application and u telling me they forgot to read SOP cant believe it haha

That’s good. Since your application is complete, you should receive a decision soon.
My only concern is there are a lot of late April/ may applicants on this forum who were saying that they haven’t received a decision yet. I hope IRCC addresses this soon.

Yes I am seeing that thread too, may be it'll all pour out together like a broken dam!! Late July I guess, by mid July VFS should operate (though limited) and 2 way courier should begin to let them PPRs get stamped hot n fresh!!

I got my first refusal on Feb
I resubmitted again may 28th (with medical included which i passed and its still valid till August)
but on 1st of july, i got a correspondence letter saying i need medicals to be done.

What's this all about ? Does the VO missed that i had done my medical Upfront.
I even shared my medical update form too.

Does anybody faced similar trouble like this?

Yes/No?
Have you had a medical exam performed by an IRCC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months?
Yes/No?

Also, one more thing - it might be true that they may be concerned about your medicals getting expired before your study starts - i.e., Fall 21.. I am not sure, just guessing here!! Couldn't find any such rule though!

That makes some sense... but can't you enter canada if your medical is passed and later it got expired too while getting inside canada?

2. There was no such question in my Form. Moreover, when i was seeing CIC website. they asked to upload IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form which i did. So that shouldn't be a problem.

oh you applied online? wasnt it SDS application - i am 100% sure it is asked you can even try this checklist generator to see the questions:

Click on check your eligibility .. it is exactly how you will fill a SP application and try to recall what you filled in medical questions (it is the question on 4th or 5th page of the questionnaire).. in my country it was an eUMI sheet not IMM1017B but it doesnt matter as long as its a medical result.

Wait - if you answered No in first question Have you lived in a designated territory/country... then that might be wrong, which country are you from? Check the list of countries which are designated and where medical are required here:
