Biometrics given last year - March 2020
Upfront Medical - April 19, 2021
SDS Online Applied - June 5, 2021

Does the 20 day timeline still hold valid for SDS or is it just a fairytale?

our timeline is almoost similar (upfront med done and biometrics given then applied online on same date) and i think it wont take more than 45 days and we should make it in time for Fall semester, as due to upfront medical ban in india, many applicants are not filing under SDS. When are your classes starting? mine from Sept 7

It will take a months time, otherwise in 60-90 odd days..

June 5 to Sept 1 (the max time by which I can wait before deferring) are 88 days. IRCC better not waste these 88 days. Lets see what happens.

I have been observing June thread of SDS for 2018 and 2019 (before covid) and they were getting PPRs within 30-45 days and rejections within 15-20 days.

Vo is not satisfied that I will leave Canada after studies based on the purpose of visit

ohh you must have forgotten to explain your future prospects in your home country in your SOP.

10th sep. I think we have enough time

Yeah lets hope so. I hve made this theory in my mind that after suspending upfront medicals, there will be lesser SDS applications this June. Fingers crossed!!

dont scare me, my SOP is my only weapon ,, although my education is continuing in nature but its a graduate certificate after 1 yr adv diploma online from outside canada... but SOP is important to justify the education expense ...

Your education was in line with your course? can u tell which course was it and what were ur earlier education and experience? sometimes VO just finds an excuse to reject if they are not overall convinced with an application

I have applied for Project management PG certificate.. Which basically is in line with my work exp..

I am guessing my study gap was the problem..
Reapplied with a stronger SOP this time .. let’s see
