Due to limited service in India, It is getting difficult to get biometric appointment. There is about 2-3 months of waiting period. Looking at current trend, i am expecting that my Biometric request will come in next 15 days. Can i schedule biometric appointment in advance ?

There is no assurance you will get BIL in next 15 days. It all depends on the VO but looking at the timeline it usually received within (+/-) few days of AOR and sometimes you will receive after file is transferred to local VO. But you can book an appointment with VFS. I remember you can't reschedule once the appointment is booked.

Don't know if you can book an appointment without the BIL but you can't go and get it done without the BIL, this is from the BIL:
What you need to bring with you:
When you present yourself at the biometric collection service point of your choice, you must bring the
following:
• a copy of this letter, and
• the passport or travel document that you referenced in your application.
Note: This letter is also your proof that:
• you have paid the biometric fee; or
• you have claimed an exemption from the biometric fee under section 315.1 of the Immigration and
Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). If, after reviewing your request, it is determined that you do not
qualify for an exemption and are required to pay the biometric fee, you will be contacted by IRCC and
your fee payment options will be explained to you.
Ours was received June 3rd as well. Good luck to all. Never thought in my life I'd be doing something like this with a spouse from abroad, but here we are!
I'm still feeling nervous that I might have forgotten to do something essential. But I checked our application like 10 times over before sending it, so just have to have faith it's done correctly. Looking forward to following you all to see how you progress!
