Updated! Please let us know when you receive the test invite letter.
As to how challenging the test is, I would say it depends on your level of preparation. I found it easy, but I was very prepared. For me reading the book twice and taking practice tests helped.
Thanks! Yeah, the tracker updated today but no email yet.
That’s good, I’ve been doing the same. Is the test focused on the province you’re in, or would I need to know the premiers/political party in power for each province?

"When can I expect oath" is very subjective, greatly varies. To avoid disappointment, expect it'll take at least a couple of months for an oath notification (but could happen sooner than that).
My citizenship application status says: "In Progress".
But I can see in addition a note saying:
-------------- Your next steps (1) Take the Oath of Citizenship
Citizenship ceremony
Waiting on you
You've been scheduled to attend your citizenship ceremony on October XX, 2021.
-------------
I am assuming this means my Oath ceremony is scheduled for Oct and I shall be receiving an email with details about oath ceremony soon.
I have a job offer from the US with joining date as Oct YY, which is 2 weeks prior to the oath ceremony.
My Questions:
1. Do we have to be in Canada for oath ceremony?
2. I am trying to pre-pone the oath-ceremony so that I do not have to return back to Canada. It seems that the webform is not working: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp . Is there another way to contact IRCC and ask them to pre-pone the oath-ceremony so that I do not have to come back to Canada for the oath ceremony?
