I received my AOR yesterday and was able to check app status on Ecas. When I logged into my application, the first thing it shows up is your current home address and mailing address before you continue further to see the status. When I filled out the application, I entered my home address followed by a check mark on a box for Mailing address to be same as home address. So I did not enter any info for mailing address.
As per Ecas it showed my home address to be correct while the mailing address showed was the one that I had entered for my PR application in 2016. Since then I have changed couple of addresses but never mentioned that old address in citizenship application.
Had I missed filling out the application properly I guess they would have returned my application to my old address without my knowledge!
For those applicants from March and April who haven’t received AOR, I suggest to check your old address incase application was returned.
Not sure why Cic would do that but I was able to update the mailing address via Ecas and was informed that it may take 15 days for the change to appear.
I suspect that. Almost everyone checks that box which says "Mailing address same as current Home address. If they are sending back the applications to the original address at the time of PR, then I guess many people would not know that their application is returned.
Oh, it seems the format is a little different from what I saw others report then. Nonetheless, when your application goes in process, there should be a line that says so. @ms453

I don't think this is accurate, remember before they input your info in their system they need to check for completeness of your application first. If your application is not complete they will send it back to the address you have in your application not your old address they have in the system, I believe they won't even look at your old profile in their system if your application is incomplete.
Hi Guys, applications sent via Canada ExpressPost are to be sent to regular mail address "CPC-Sydney P.O. Box 7000 Sydney, NS B1P 6V6" or to Courier address " CPC-Sydney 49 Dorchester Street Sydney, NS B1P 5Z2"? (Doubting if expresspost is treated as Courier).
Also, I just realized that I have put the address as CPC-Sydney P.O. Box 7000 Sydney, NS B1P 6V6 which I used from below link :-
However, I just noticed that on the last page of cit002-e form, its mentioned to send file to Case Processing Center-Sydney, GRANTS Adults P.O.BOX 7000, Sydney, NS B1P 6V6.
I didn't mention "GRANTS Adult" on address. Would it really matter?

Hey guys, my wife’s AOR and mine were received today (Oct/07) via email. Could you please update the tracker? Rooting for all of us June applicants here!
Note: to no one’s surprise, the confirmation letter attached to my email has my previous address on it, same for my wife. Both of us informed the address change via web form a couple of months ago. At least now we can rectify this on ECAS.
