been waiting for two years

My ecas once showed Decision Made but then it switched back to In Progress. I guess it was same time as my Background check went back to In Progress.

Why is that my ecas show following:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on June 8, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 9, 2020
3. We started processing your application on December 17, 2020

but nothing after that? I had FP request and my test was done last year.

Also the 27 month time, is it from the day they receive application or from the day they start processing?

same with me , 3 weeks age decision was made and last changed to in process.

After almost 26 months, I got update background verification completed. What is next step? Test invite? as my other status are in progress.

Jus wanted to give you all some updates. in the past 30 days, my background check got completed, 7 days later test invite was sent, did the test the first day I was allowed to and on July 21st (almost three weeks after I did the test) all the items turned green but oath ceremony. This has been 26 months of wait so far and hoping the ceremony date gets updated soon.

ohh is it. Mine is still no update. Did you get an email or it got updated on tracker ? Did your tracker got updated too with new date ? Mine is still showing last updated on July 6th 2021.

I thought my situation is bad (25 months, got DM but no oath invite yet)..duuuude, 26 months and no test? That is crazy..Sorry to hear that

@sumitbajaj07 , No I didn't get any email. My tracker get updated with this detail. Also tracker date updated from 23 Apr 2020 to 22 July 2022.
