Received an email saying I have an update in my application. Never had a GU in the entire process.

I did not have any GU throughout the entire process.

Hi @legalfalcon - had one question. Can I send my photo and COPR letter for PR card to the Vancouver office (as it seems to be the fastest centre) even though my letter says to send the above to the Montreal centre. People have been waiting for over 6-8 months to receive their card, hence, wanted to check if it’s a good idea. Thanks!

Check page 2 next to final. It should say approved. You can also check the notes section to see if there is anymore information there relating to security status. Otherwise it is probably still in progress

No you can only send your photo to the office where you have been asked to.

You can see under Admissibilities - Security, in your GCMS notes. If you have around2-4 activities, then your security is passed.

@legalfalcon Medicals of (me and my wife) was passed in Aug 2020. When I checked GCMS notes, Eligibility , Medicals (M1,S1) Criminality was passed and biometric was pending for spouse which was completed on 2nd March 2021. I received IME1017E medical form only for my wife on 11th March to get medicals again {as expiry of prev medical test is on 11th May}. What does this indicate ? Any thoughts/Insights on my application status.

If you request GCMS from IRCC then it will be blank when in progress or completed. On the other hand GCMS from CBSA will only have security blank when it is completed.
