For those whose biometrics got exempted, did your cic profile get updated under biometric status line? I checked mine on 24th Sep, still saying" not received".
Did you upload your 'old Biometrics receipt' in the application under biometrics section ? Or
Are you expecting them to retrieve your biometrics information from your old application ?
I had given my biometrics for work permit application earlier, and uploaded same receipt now in PR application. waiting for next step.

I was told by my agent that I don’t need to upload anything , just wait. My agent said one of her client got “biometric completed ” automatically since the new rule came out.
Thats Normal, It change after 30 days past, mine changed to submitted too but when you open full application status over there it still says we need your biometrics and i think it not gonna change till the decision

No need for receipt, if you already given biometrics before it will show on your profile the moment you pass medicals and your UCI number changes to original one
My profile still shows "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details." despite being exempt. Anyone has this message changed?

Dr krupalIf they are calling in Montreal for June 10 AOR, then we should get call soon in Toronto area also. I think, they should open it for appointment booking now, so people who are willing to travel little far, will able to give biometrics.
