I am using a lawyer and part of the retainer agreement says I cant contact IRCC for anything, except through them. is anyone here in the same boat like me? What do I do?

I got a call today from +18553097887, I was on a work call when it came in.. I could not pick it. I do not know if this is CIC or fraudsters. I can't call the number back. I just keep thinking maybe it was CIC.

I received a call from "no caller ID", usually if you miss the call from Passport Canada, they will leave a message to you mentioned they will call back.

So, is it a fake ghost update due to some technical issue?

Hey congrats, but what do you mean by "background check completed"?
Did you see an update on your profile saying "background check completed", or did IRCC tell you that when you called them?
