Yes I am in almost same situation,I applied on 10 June with biometric done
11 June file received in Delhi
Still waiting
Travel dates already passed 2 July bit worried now

How did you check your status? Because everytime i check in vfs uae there is no record showing.

I had linked my file with gc key .you can do that by signing up in gc account

Applied on 17th june....
Biometrics done on 22nd june
After that no reply... And the wait kills

The application was submitted online from India.

Over mail they will let u know there's a new msg in ur account
However the letter itself u will have to download from your account

Have you been to Canada before or did you have a strong travelling record ?

No I haven't been to Canada before.
Infact I was denied US visitor Visa last year which I had mentioned in the form as well.
I travelled to 3 countries before this two European and one in Asia.

After that no reply... And the wait kills

I got passport request on 3july.
I applied on 19jun and biometric on 20jun

4 yrs of job in India, no asset shown. I was invited by my in laws in Canada for family visit plus I was sponsored by my family. Probably that worked in my favour.
