Hi everyone, what are the documents to be submitted by sponsor and which is to be submitted by the principal applicant for a successful spouse family application? Spouse is outland sponsor is a Canadian.
Hi, I am in a similar situation with you. I have given my biometrics on July 26th. And up till now, no medical request for me...... I am very worried now. Especially seeing other applicants with similar timelines getting approvals and receiving PPRs

Oh my don’t stress! All process is around 12 months. Those are super lucky cases that get ppr within 3–6 months... the rest is waiting around one year... keep checking your ECAS it will show there when medical request will be sent to you.

No it does not affect in any way...My application for visitors Visa got rejected earlier and my PR application is being processed now..I dont find any delay or lag in spousal application process...
Does anyone know how long on average it takes to get PPR after medicals? We did our medicals back in the beginning of August and they were approved. I know that some people (generally people from India) get the response very very quickly but was wondering if there is a time limit or an average? I read somewhere that you have to immigrate within one year of doing your medicals and another website said that you'll generally get a response within 6 months. Our application was sent to the Mississauga VO - so fingers crossed.
*I'm well aware that anything under a year is lucky - I'm just excited, and impatient, and like to speculate.
