Hi guys, I'm new here. me(PR in Montreal) and my wife (in China) are planning to submit our application in August. Since the thread for August is just getting warm up and this one here is more active, hence posting my question here. please remove it if it's against the rule.

We are preparing our chat logs and it's basically screenshots due to the app we use doesn't allow us to export text. Each screenshot contains about 5 to 7 lines of message, most of them just 2/3 words. We tried to shrink the pictures so that more can be fit into one A4 paper. Even we put 6 pictures on one page, it's still not much because of the maximum 10 Pages limit. and Doc-base asks for $520.
Our question is how should we best present out chat logs? right now we take a couple of screenshots for every month of two years. We chat every day so we do have thousands of pages. Can we just type the text instead? in which case how do we convince IRCC that these are not made-up stories?

how you guys do it? Do you take screenshots or just send pure-text chat logs? Any help would be appreciated.

Facebook will send it to you via email. Once they’ve sent it to you, I suggest to open it in the computer so you can easily take screenshot of the convos that you’d like to submit.
