Hey my VO is Montreal. They said that my file review haven't been started and they are waiting for an officer to review the file. Does that mean it might take more then 7th dec which is my deadline to process the file. What can I do in this situation. Any help or idea would be appreciated. Does anyone know about the processing times for Montreal VO

You called and they said your file has not been reviewed?
And Dec 07 marks the 6 months?

Ya that's what she said, she stated that there are no notes new notes on file and last update was out biometrics letter on 22 june. She said that they are waiting for officer to review file. And then my criminal check etc would start, I am confused with all this. And dec 7 Mark's 6 months, does it have to do with the visa office?

Im not an expert on this, but im waiting for a result too. AOR June 29.

I would give them a call at the 6 months mark!

I just found out that the Montreal VO is slowest and is taking upto 1 year to process the application, I am nervous and stressed now

Update:
PPR request received via email notification: Nov 5
I sent out GCMS notes request some time in Sep and received it about a month or more later in late Oct. It shows the following:

Eligibility: recommended pass
Security: not started​

I will send out a photocopy of my passport today. I am looking forward to receiving COPR. Thank you guys for being a part of this community. I hope everyone gets PR soon. Best, Howard

Called them yesterday same status as was two months ago. But last time i was told that my vo is ottawa but yesterday told that it is sydney. Stil waiting 5 months completed. Eligibility recommended pass and criminality under process.
