CEC Inland
AOR: July 15
Med: August 14
Dependent: 1 (spouse currently in India)
Criminality: passed 1 month ago
Security: not started
Eligibility: under review.
I spoke with CIC agent on phone and came to know that very often eligibility goes under review. When it is under review then processing time will be longer. 2 months ago my file was being processed in Sydney, Nova Scotia and now it is in Edmonton. I don't know the reason why the file was sent to Edmonton.
Thought the agent told me that my file looks good but I am a bit worried. It's close to 100 days and still security not started and they say eligibility under review.
Are there any chances that my application will get rejected?

Hi Parikh, currently there are huge back logs... Also there is no set system to say that this is what will happen in succession and with perfection... Each case is different basis the Processing officer... On the net I saw some thing a while a go sharing for your understanding.... This is not the perfect one and dont read too much on IP1 & IP2... Till you get a notification for passport request your status on eligibility will always "under review"... Also if you are missing something the CIC are quiet prompt in intimating it to you.... So hold tight... You will hear...

When they review your documents they check if you have provided all and once its done you pass your eligibility... However it does not figure on your log in screen... Dont worry.... They say 6 months and most of the time it gets completed .... follow the link... it will give you a perspective... it may not be a perfect one https://immiknowhow.com/2017/07/16/bg-and-medical-status-and-its-meaning-post-aor/
