SO something changed on CIC today.
  • August 2, 2018 You passed the medical exam..... I did my medical exam in the spring of 2019.
no other changes. 2 days until my 12 month mark. No other letters.
What the actual F*ck?

I asked that question because if you applied for OWP while out of status and you got approved recently for OWP then that means they granted AIP because they only give OWP to out of status applicants after AIP but that's not the case for you since you were in status when you submitted OWP
You don't need to extend TRV because you are no more a visitor in Canada, you are a worker since you are holding OWP, you won't have to worry about losing status until your OWP or passport expires, whichever comes first
