For me ECAS updated Sept 28th and I had it in my mail box Oct 2nd

I got FP request letter dated Sep 19, in mailbox Sep 24 had my FP done Sep 28.
Anyone knows how long this FP process takes ?
Also, is CIC going to wait till this FP process is all clear or will they proceed with test invite ?

After completing FP, did you inform CIC or it is RCMP duty to send the FP details directly?

I did not inform anyone about completing this. Should I ? I was told that RCMP will send me a confirmation that FP have been sent to CIC already.

It is a Finger print request for me and my spouse! Got the Request letter in my mail box. Scheduled with RCMP this Friday....One question- Do we have to make a Certified bank cheque or Money order at Post office for $50? That is what RCMP office told me to do... please advise

I do not think they update when it is received. Next step should be test invite.
