I have only once sent an email to Ralph's office, in similar desperation. Frankly, I don't feel it does anything.

Then in that case, you have to wait for landing. After landing, withdraw BOWP and get your money back.

Last question. Do you know if the days in Canada towards citizenship count from the date COPR was issued or the day after i have officially "landed"?

BOWP can largely be said to be on FIFO but not entirely true going by my experience.
I applied online for my BOWP on March 8, 2019 and got approved on May 14, 2019. It all depends on who handles your file I guess or generally this cic thing (PR et al) is all luck in terms of how quickly one's application is processed. A lot of rubbish is going on at cic. They are not objective and don't work on files on first come first served basis.

Yeah, I know there are some exceptions and each officer works differently. But to my experience, for the majority of cases, it is on a FIFO base.

the day after i have officially "landed", because that is the date that you finalize the whole process and you are considered as PR

No, I was not asked for re-meds. My medical exam turned 1 year in the mid of May. 3 weeks ago it went from passed to you do not need a medical exam.

they usually don't assess your medical again unless they have some results regarding your SS. But, from your description, I am not sure if they reassessed it or is it just an automatic thing that happens for everyone whose medical got expired.

Hi all, I'm AOR 29th July. Called CIc in Jan and was told my file was waiting final review was told the same when I called in April . So this month I called and was told it has been transferred to AVO. Now I'm wondering why it was transferred. Does it mean they are thru with the review or I'm to expect another long wait from AVO.
