Why should we just wait endlessly. I think that there should be a time frame. It is not fair to live under this uncertainty. After all, the point of having clear processig times is that people feel assured that they are being treated fairly and know when to expect to hear back about their application. If time was not enough, the processing time can be extended for 3 or 6 months, but the applicant should expect to have their application finalized before the end of that extension.

I think that we should not just wait. How about starting a campaing on twitter or facebook or both demanding clear processing times, and extensions if necssary, for all types of applications?

Me also tried many times they said timelines are not fixed. Your file is under review so office will contact u very soon if they need any thing

Again may sound harsh.. u r not doing favour to them by applying...wait or get oyt of line mate... i agree on frustation... but stop thinking its ur country or they are obliged to make u hppy... i realised this hard way.. i had few issues on path as well... u can have two hundred... when u apply for a job.. don u wait for result or sau they didn reply 3 monyhs i will start a movement.. come to real world my frn.. and there are bigger obstacles th. This

I will tell ya.. it is transparent.. bec you submit and get results... now internal processes is typical.. i can tell ya once major reason, not even major it is the reason is election yr and reorganization... ehich has started last yr September across all depts.... due to this there is heavy disruption ...

May be, but in such situation, wouldn't it be better to inform the applicants. "Due to such and such reason, please expect a delay of 6 more months". And we will keep quiet. The pain is getting hopeful every Monday and disappointed every Friday.

nope no country does... noone will they call it GOVT PROCESS... its a privilege not ur right get the PR..harsh words but i know your my bro and u will understand ...Have u ever tries US green card... same ... its a privilege not ur right get GC..... Just see express entry as simplified GC process where people compete and get PR... thats what even US wants for GC...but thats another story...
And now as ur frn... i understand what you are goin through... i also seen similar stage and worse when was waiting PR card as i had family urgency... but hold on... it will happend
