Does anyone here have any experience with the bridging work permit? Anyone know how long the validity on such a work permit is and can one apply to extend the visa as well based on the bridging work permit?
My work permit is about to expire in just over 4 months, and no sign of PR coming any time soon. They just want me to spend more money on this shit!
I just applied for a BWOP. Used a consultant. Currently take over 80 days to process. I ended up waiting until 3 months before my PGWP expired before applying for a BOWP. Agent from CIC told me they are normally issued for 1 yr. In my case, mine may only be issued until July as that is when my passport expires. Currently submitted passport for renewal.
Hi guys. I have an enquiry. So I used a fixed deposit and treasury bill as my pof but the bulk is in fd. But in my gcms I noticed the case analyst didn't add the treasury bill, he only took note of the fd and the balance in the account as at that date, even tho I mentioned in my loe that i have set aside the fd and treasury bill for this purpose.. my query now is...do I need to now maintain this balance in the account as well? Or explain that the fd and tbills is my pof in case I'm asked for an updated pof seen that my application is getting to 8 months... @legalfalcon@tobs and all pls help

BOWP is processed on almost a FIFO based. If you check the processing time, thy are working on applicants from Nov. 3rd right now. Having said that they might not look at your file for the next cpl of months at all. So, renew your passport and send it through a CSE. You may be able to get te hone year

Hoping to get my new passport bfore they look at my BOWP application so I can get the full year as opposed to a couple of months. My country is taking 3-4 months to renew passports (That is nuts!)
