I have just talked to an agent as per @Prashant86_2000 recommendation and asked the above questions.
1. My eligibility and criminality is passed, and my security is in progress
2. My file is currently in CPC Ottawa.
We can therefore deduce that the s.15(1) does not necessarily mean that security is completed. @Mr_nobody ,you were right!
Unfortunately! Hang in there buddy. We are gonna be here together far more than others. The good point is that now I am very calm and less stressed as I know my file is not going to be finalized soon
Hi guys. Been a silent reader and have to thank you guys for keeping everyone waiting for PPR motivated and hopeful.
My AOR is 4th June 2018 and I am still awaiting some movement.. Last my file moved to I guess IP2 on Sept 24th.. ordered GCMS notes and it shows some kind of movement on 24th Sept.
I am obviously worried we are going through SS and for that reason have applied for gcms again 2 weeks ago and also CSIS a week ago.
If anyone can share any light on if I am following the correct procedure or should I be doing something differently.
Thank you in advance
You post was lost in the middle of others
When did you order your first set of notes? Can you share your activity 1-5 and assessment section?
There is nothing you can do. I would recommend to wait for two more weeks to see your GCMS notes. If anything suspicious, order CBSA notes as well to make sure if you are under SS or not. But, in terms of the processing, there is not much that you can do except waiting.

I remember you said earlier that agents cannot see the latest status of security. For example, you said that if an agent tells us security is "Not started", it may have been already in progress. Can we generalize this statement and deduce that "in progress" is not the latest status and it may be one step behind?

What I said is that call agents only have access to your GCMS and when you call, they only read some info from your GCMS. For eligibility and criminality, I am sure that they have access and the can precisely tell the last status of your application. However, I am not sure what they can see from the security. I think some info might be redacted for them as well. If that is the case, the last not redacted info that they can see is security "not started" and they tell the applicant security is not started. I am not sure though!
Does anyone here have any experience with the bridging work permit? Anyone know how long the validity on such a work permit is and can one apply to extend the visa as well based on the bridging work permit?
My work permit is about to expire in just over 4 months, and no sign of PR coming any time soon. They just want me to spend more money on this shit!
