Dang!!. I was unnecessarily running after them asking for a PPR request then. Is this generally the case when you are told your application is approved while the Eligibility is still showing MET ?
Ahh okay. You are right actually, it was us who mentioned the COPR. But this does mean an approval right? I mean she didn't exactly say it but she said all checks are passed, a final decision seems to have been made and we should expect a letter soon...?
''A decision had been made'' most likely means it was approved. I once got an agent was not very friendly and was mad that I had ordered GCMS 14 times and hadn't crossed 6 months After he realised it was a system error and I had only ordered once he became a little more friendly and said that ''a decision has been made''... he must have heard the panic in my voice ...as I didn't know what that meant at the time... so he laughed a little and said 'it's okay it was a positive decision' and then when back to telling me not to order notes as it delays things.
When I called back a month later that agent confirmed that it was ''approved'' and gave the date that it was approved so then I knew what ''a decision has been made'' meant
On a side note IRCC themselves have said that it doesn't and I know people who have ordered multiple notes and got their PPR way before me.
No man. I haven’t seen any. In my experience the local visa offices within Canada don’t have one. And hence nothing mentioned on website. I had asked call center agent to give me Montreal email id and she said they didn’t have one. My guess is same is the case with Calgary VO.
What's your AOR?
There's a possibility that you won't get any response if you're within the 6 months timeline. But if you've passed the 6 months timeline, send CIO and email with something along the lines of "Approved Application beyond 6 months processing timeline awaiting PPR"
@tobs! @macaly7 !! I GOT MY PPR!!! OH MY GOSH!! FINALLYYYYYYY!! I wrote an email this morning to CIO and i got my PPR after several hours!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
