Yes you are right @cansha there is nothing of that sort so I am pretty sure that its not in SS. Moreover, we provided all exact documents as per requirement of IRCC without any exception and I haven't traveled out of India. So I don't see any reason for them to keep stretching the dates except for their lack of manpower or slack in efficiency.
Don’t be, I remember a friend telling me he got a similar response (keeping communications to a minimum) from Mexico City VO when asking for a family sponsorship application of his wife, the process was supposed to take 12 months and it actually took 8, everything was fine, they just want to shut people down.
How can it be cause all updates (GCMS, CSE etc) have given to me prior to this Ottawa mail, indicates that my security has not started. Moreover, what would they check as both me and my spouse have ZERO foreign travel history.
Are you sure your name doesn’t match with any local gangster?
Frankly speaking richa sounds like a pretty decent name to me in a completely non threatening way and it’s highly unlikely there would be any gangster with name richa but you sure.
My 2nd GCMS was generated on 21st Nov. Dont know what he is referring to, could be security, cause GCMS after the case processing agent at CIO marked my Criminality as Passed and Eligibility as MET on 26 Oct, my file was Assigned to RC-6262 which I think is code for CPC Ottawa with due date of 25 Nov 18 (already passed) and no update after that as per my Last CSE's and 1 mail to CPC Ottawa.

The status of your application is in progress and everything appears to be in order with your application. They don’t need any documents from you and they will get back to you when the make decision.
As I quoted I my earlier poat. My 2nd GCMS was generated on 21st Nov. All my correspeondence (GCMS, CSE etc) prior to this Ottawa mail, indicates that my security has not started. Moreover, what would they check as both me and my spouse have ZERO foreign travel history and I have also submitted all documents as per their requirements without any deviation.

For your peace of mind you can think about ordering cbsa notes. It’s hard not to panic when people put doubts in your head with all the security screening stuff even though that might not be the case.

Even CBSA notes doesn't say much bases on what I have observed from few people who shared their experience. If someone has experience or feedback on CBSA then I would evaluate that before making up my mind. Thanks for sharing your views.
I think these CSEs are useless. According to my conversation with a call center agent on the 27 of November my file was approved on the 13 of November. Since then I've raised 2 CSEs and both times I got a response saying my application is in progress. Same office, same application but different responses is not at all professional! I am still waiting to get my PPR email. I'll hit 7 months in a week and I'm being made to wait for an application that was approved more than 2 months ago.

Just to let you know that people with zero travel history also end up in SS. I wish and hope you are not into SS but the kind fo response that you got in the past has been given to people who were in SS. You can search this forum and you can cross check whatever I have mentioned.
Further- SS starts posts eligibility met/passed and GCMS has to show Security blanked out on page 2. Thereafter notes1-5 has a certain pattern which indicates SS. If your notes says security not started then it most likely means that you are not in SS on that particular date. Also people do get into SS very late as well (like 6 months post AOR)- again there are many cases like this on this forum itself.
Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.
Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
Can someone explain what does review by an officer mean? No ADR for my application so far.
