Hi everyone,

Is to common to see a ghost update after raising a CSE? I am hoping the ghost update that i just saw is not in relation to the CSE i raised yesterday.

can you share your timeline? thanks.

In fact I have heard the same thing from few other. So I guess its just random pick depending on your luck... We do not have any insight on how the workflow is handled so no point overthinking.
We just plan to call once and mail CPC Ottawa (where our file is stuck at) once between this and next week to see if there is any progress.

i am not getting any response back from ottawa. cant help but wonder if they reply or not.

can you please advise how the process is going on now? the applicants do NOt receive PPR? and we don't need to send passports for visas and do landing if we are inland applicants? do you receive invitation for landing interview through email or mail??

It seems to me CEC inlands are getting interview requests from the middle of last year. May I know what is the last update regarding your application? Thanks.

Someone did report they got response from them. But they have never replied to my emails.

i mailed them on 21st. Since then they had 3 business days and given in the auto reply it is stated that it will take maximum 10 business days so I am patiently waiting.

I was only able to submit the PCC on December 18. I saw a ghost update on December 23 and then again this morning.

I am getting a bit nervous.

No ghost update has nothing to do with CSE. So this ghost update is an indication of progress on your file or may be approval.

Call tomorrow. Most likely your file is approved hence multiple ghost updates. And its a good sign your ghost updates are so close to your submission.

I raised a CSE yesterday and got a reply within 20 minutes. Agent told me to wait till Jan 5, 2019 and raise another CSE if I dont hear anything by then! The last CSE I raised was on December 5 when they replied a decision has been taken on my file. She said she confirmed that the agent who replied to my CSE had taken appropriate actions.
