What would help you understand your estimated processing time?
This is not at all a proper way to estimate the processing time. This simply indicates the number of days passed since AOR. A proper progress bar will give an indication of "actual" progress of the application.
What would have made the text in the application status box more helpful to you?
Just provide the information which is retrievable from GCMS notes. For example, Security, Criminality, Medical, Eligiblity etc.
We value your opinion. Please provide any additional comments about the progress bar.

AOR June 19th. CEC-Inland. VO-Ottawa. Last year, some of my friends got PR in 2 months. This year some of them got in 4-5 months. But here I am...waiting.

And just like that another week comes to an end! I had really high hopes with this week. But anyways, sigh!
The next week I think is going to be a half-ish week and I don't think we can expect much from the later part of the next week. Have a nice weekend everyone! Recharge for the wait beginning from next Monday!

Hello @Prashant86_2000. From observations, IT industry marketing jobs are all over Canada, but largest concentration is Ontario and Quebec. You also have opportunities in Vancouver also.
Trying out academics (lecturing in Marketing) is also a good idea. Big universities and colleges would prefer you have Canadian experience, you can explore smaller colleges for this.

This is also annoying, my Medicals expire on Jan 4, and I haven't gotten a mail to redo it, even tho the previous was passed. Called them and they told me they don't require anything and I should contact them back mid January if i haven't gotten any update. So upsetting, getting to almost a year since AOR
Having a Masters Degree in Marketing is a sure prerequisite to get a marketing lecturing job in Colleges and Universities here. Some job postings will require you have a PhD or in the process of getting one (which could be done online these days).
