Quick question guys,
When you loggrd into your profile, (Before you noticed the Progress bar), did you get the "Application/Profile Updated" status in place of the standard "submitted"??
When I asked about progress bar,the agent said that you may not be able to see it as your file is approved and only further communication from the designated visa office is pending.
I suppose you should not worry about the progress bar and related mails.
I still cant see the progress bar, but i got the email that it should be visible to me. Sigh... ircc is confusing us soo much, i might have to get admitted to a mental hospital soon
This is what they replied
"We verified the information you provided and can confirm that a decision has been made on the application. Rest assured that the responsible office will contact you by mail or email to provide you with that decision."
I'm legit waiting for responses before I click "read". I've been hoping for a ghost update, I need to know whether to get excited or not.
Ps: I haven't logged on to my account since Friday last week so I don't know when the "application updated" first appeared.

So Yeah, i finally checked...there's a progress bar on my profile. Showing "estimated remaining processing time: 28 days".
I think i got a ghost update, but it could just as well have been a "progress bar" update.
Yup. I think the Progress bar has left some people feeling even worse off. Like a guy on the Ottawa WhatsApp group I'm in, with AOR of March 2016, and estimated completion time of September 2016.

He's feeling pretty pissed...
I think for him, no progress bar would have been better.
Guys! Just speculation, but what if:
All our approved cases have not received e-mails because of a technical issue? I mean what if they believe they sent it but we just ignored it. The reason I think so i that many approved cases have not received even the progress bar notification e-mails, but it has appeared indeed. Why didn't they notified us about it? Maybe there is some kind of issue with their transactional e-mail service
I don’t think it’s the case with PPR. That’s because every time I called CIC, agent has checked if PPR mail was sent in the system and found it hasn’t been sent yet. If there was a technical glitch, they would be able to see it was sent and I haven’t received it.
