Hi Kaveh, yes, call center agents don't seem to know more than what we see in the CIC account ourselves unfortunately. And also MPs actually.
By the way, you applied in February of 2018 and are still waiting for the PPR email?
I applied on June 1, 2018 and they told me on the phone that the eligibility is still under review... I don't know if they can do background check in the meantime to get some work done while eligibility is completed... anyway... 285 days seem a lot, did they ask you to take a second medical exam? I am asking because I took my medical exam in February of 2018 and I am getting close to 1 year so probably I would have to take the medical exam again at some point...
I would not be worried as long as there are group of people waiting in similar approval status and waiting for PPR. Also not seeing a flow of PPRs in immitracker either. I am only frustrated that after completing so many steps and so much of time spent by everyone. Why the last simple step (I assume) is taking time. I dont think anyone can just focus on other things in this situation and hence we are close to 1000 pages
We all are great examples of "anything can happen in the world of immigration and visas"

Hi. Yes I'm still waiting. My medical expires in a month and IRCC has neither asked for a remedical nor extended my medicals yet. My file was approved on Oct 19th and it seems I still have to wait for Sydney VO to wake up.

Yes we did pass medicals in one or two days, and application straight went to IP2, however, as smooth was start of journey up till now there are no updates they are reviewing police certificate for past 5 months

I see Kaveh here too... Extremely frustrating! Into my 11 month now, funny thing is that i haven't even got request for re-medical, mine expires in less than 30 days.

That’s a huge number, hope they don’t keep us waiting. On the other side, I have seen lot of applicants from July and August moving to ip2. Will they prioritize our files in that case or we have to keep on waiting is my major concern.
Not everyone that has their medicals expire is asked for a remedical. They can actually extend medicals if they want to. They've done that for number of people.
I called them today after waiting in queue for around an hour. The agent was not at all helpful. He told me to wait and call only when I complete six months. I replied saying my six months get complete after two days to which I got a reply call after two days and he hanged up.

I am going to send the link of this group to CIC through web form, let them see how their lack of transparency and delayed processing impacting people's lives.
