But i see s15 on top right corner of the pages which is making me nervous..i see below info on one of the threads.
I somhow get a feeling im under security screening. My hopes just got thin with the notes.
1. Section 15 -
Information under this section is hidden when IRCC or a Canadian agency has requested information from a foreign government or agency. It could be anything from checking your record in a foreign country to verifying the information you have supplied in your application. CSIS also requests information on your criminality or association with terrorism if they suspect any. However, most people who would see this would be those who have worked for foreign governments, especially military. Most of the applicants who see this on the GCMS notes, need not worry, as this is a routine check and does not impact the application. It may delay the application, but will not be harmful, unless IRCC finds something seriously wrong.
Have you ordered notes or raised a CSE? I honestly feel that there’s no other way out than getting a formal communication over notes or email since calling an agent rarely helps answer our queries satisfactorily. All they can say is that it’s approved in your case, but when that elusive PPR will come isn’t information they’re privy to. I suspect GCMS or a web enquiry might trigger some movement or at least give you a sense of what wait time is expected now...Sorry for your situation and that of others in the same shoes - can’t even begin to imagine how frustrating it must be

Thanks- yes I have ordered GCMS notes on Nov 19 - so will get them in another two weeks. Really at wits end now- not sure if the application is approved in reality or if anything else is being done...

I do hope you get the notes soon! And that they show your file decision status with a deadline against when the golden email is to be triggered - hopefully before year end
You guys have suffered enough with the torturous and senseless wait - wish these VOs would understand that our year end festivities depend on their whims and fancies
A shame indeed! But I’m positive your files aren’t waiting for any further processes to be done - just that golden email to be triggered! The burden of waiting is feeling more and more like a situation of ‘Gollum and his PRECIOUS ring’ in the Lord of the Rings - making us angry, uncertain and full of fury by turns ;(
May I ask everyone - what do you plan on doing if you reach January 2019 and no PPR? We are yet to buy plane tickets, give up our lease, quit our jobs and so forth. We originally planned to leave in April 2019, but we want to get started on some of the important things long before we leave. We are considering moving the date we move to Canada if we have not heard anything by January 2019. What are you guys planning to do?

My assumption was to receive ppr maximum by November which has already crossed and all my plans have already failed so I would rather wait this time for ppr as their process is completely unpredictable. Who knows they extend it upto a year so it’s better to concentrate on something else and forget about any plans until we hear from them.

The main issue now we are facing is job situation.mentally draining and lack of focus.rest all are only secondary now for me and dont look too daunting
This is incorrect. If the security related info is blank with S.15/S.16 it does not mean SS. It could also mean that your Security is going on. They blank out both security and Security screening related info. I have done enough research on this as I am worried that I might be in SS because of my extensive travel history.
Well, I don't see anything of that sort in Activity 1-5. Finally, I have nothing much to infer from notes!!
Do you think I should order one more set to check for any movement in the past 1 month or wait till my 6 months is complete?
Another set of GCMS notes won’t help as it will have same info. However, you can order CBSA/CSIS notes to get more details as to what is going on with your security check.
I know some people reported that call center agents told them about security still going on while file is already approved but have not seen any concrete source on this. We all know how much we can trust the agents and their interpretation.
Also, it doesn’t makes sense to me to approve the file while security is incomplete. God forbid if anyone’s security check result has concerns and person is inadmissible, are they going to revert the decision from approved to rejected?
Wait seems endless now. Agents aren't helping either. Called last night the agent told that you are still within timelimit. Keep checking your emails. Btw AOR 7th June.
Its frustrating to wait more knowing we cant do anything but wait.
@legalfalcon@bimale4bipeople : Your views please? The GCMS notes do say that final decision is approved, but what would the s15(1) in the top right hand corner mean
