Sounds logical
Where to check who made recent notes? I am assuming it must be by the agent. If it was by officer, it would be written passed right? Plz correct me if im wrong
From gcms notes which I ordered on Oct 10th, I came to know that my file was transferred to Sydney on Oct 11th. And my gcms notes were generated on Oct 12th, saying criminality passed and eligibility met and security not started.
On 18th file got approved. It took Sydney guys just 6 days to finish security but to trigger ppr mail can't fathom what's stopping them
So we ordered notes again. Hope to receive PPR before notes atleast this time
In my opinion, You can now relax as you know that the application is approved.I know there is nothing as satisfying as the PPR/COPR, but you can get back to packing the bags, shopping pre cooked food for the starting days in CANADA. PPR will definitely come in a day or two or three or four or whenever sydney guys get happy to oblige you

Even I got to know from Ralph's email that my application was approved on Nov 8. But unfortunately file is now in CIO Sydney. Not sure when I will get PPR
Great. Thanks for the info. My Eligibility status is also Met by Case processing Agent. August 2 AOR.
I guess I should just relax and wait two more months.
How many months from when that agent made those notes to when your app was approved?
As it was Friday today so I decided to do some Analysis on PPR trends in previous months, not that I want to challenge @cansha analysis or something, S/He is brilliant there But I though, why not try a hand.
In my sample of June and July first 48 (starting from PPR date 15 Nov) The avereage days to PPR is 114.8 Days.
Not posting the whole lot of other things that I matched and Analysed but in the simplest form, its around 114 days to PPR on Normal basis.
You guys can choose to disagree, ignore this. Just my 50 Cents

Correct dude. But we cannot book tickets until we know for sure the date of departure. Not to forget resignation, notice period, selling assets and all... all are in hold mode for now...

You wont believe it. According to notes, eligibility is met on 27/06/2018. They didnot touch it until Oct 11th, the day after my gcms request. Was it coincidence? Who knows ?
Gulp! Don't keep me in suspense dude...spell out the writing on the wall!
I was hoping its a positive trend...Vegreville to Ottawa and then maybe a faster processing of the application (though after 5 months, HOW can they be eh )...but thy words sound ominous!!!

Uh oh! In any case, if the workload distribution had to happen, Im only glad we all landed up in Ottawa....and not Montreal (sorry @cansha ) or Sydney (sorry @CoolSandy ). But yeah, there is no guarantee Ottawa is not going to take as long (or longer) than its notorious sister offices, though we can but hope that all of us in the Oct 26 IP2 who are allocated to Ottawa have reason to thank our VO before long
Have collated a few good links that I found interesting with respect to the process flow. I found it helpful so wanted to share these with all of you. Hope everyone in our group also find these good to clarify some of their doubts.
