Agreed. I am a CEC inland applicants, and got the ghost update many days ago. It seems like CIC never deal with CEC applicants, which makes me so depressed on that point.

At least you guys are in Canada, FSW (O)s struggling to even land their. Your moment will come soon. A little Pinch of More patience !!!

I don't think that will help. I am sitting approved for the past one month too with no ppr. His ofc is anyways giving standard replies that we are still within 6 month timeframe

Just got the PPR!

For some reason we've been asked to submit our passports to NDVO. Do we put in a webform query to change it to Ottawa since we live in the US? How long do they take to reply typically?

Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents: We do not need additional documents.
Interview: You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics: We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
Is this IP1 or IP2? Can any one Please suggest?

This is IP2. When Background Check is under Progress, we all term it as In Progress 2. Before this there would have been a stage mentioning Application is In Progress, we will tell you when we start Background Check. That is IP1

Hi, Is there a difference between "eligibility met" and "eligibility passed"?

Yes. Eligibility met is when the ageny reviews your file and recommends it as eligibility met. Eligibility passed comes much closer to PPR, around the approval of your file.

Per me, this is the final approval before PPR

This is seriously disturbing news! Our approved cases are kept in cold storage while they are cooking PPRs for latest applications! This really hurts. God knows why on earth I had to submit my application in June.

Guys Chill!
They wanted to tie us all in one thread. They knew we all will are the future of their country and they wanted us all to land and meet at the Airport and start partying there itself.

Today 1 month since IP2
Application approved according to cic agent
7th june AOR
No mail from ircc
Completed 160 days.
Should I raise CSE or send mail to mr ralph?
Can I do anything to prompt cic about my pending application?

I tried the CIC webform way. I feel it does not help. I request you not to reach out to Ralph, as he cannot expedite your case but can only tell you the status you know already.

I request you to patiently wait until you reach 6 months.

IRCC is the best when it comes to amusing people with their Tech skills, I guess. Those poor souls on ROH 104 have been waiting nervously all along today for this!

Even I am stuck at CIO Sydney since 8th Nov (File approved). Not sure how long it will take. Any deadline by which they will send us PPR email, after file has been approved ?
