Naaah!! Its approved. This is an email from a MP's office congratulating you. Be patient and it will come. There are several others in similar positions. Let people with no progress at all call IRCC. That my view, you can call of course, nothing is stopping you.

Based on experience what are chances that an application gets rejected after IP2. I know the reasons could be there, but has anyone seen it happening ?

I keep hearing that the application has to undergo a final review and decision before PPR is issued and this normally happens only after Bcg (Criminality and Security is completed)

What I noticed in this forum is that if application goes to ip2 after long time say 3 to 4 months then rarely I have seen asking for more clarification on POF but did not see any rejections based from Eligibility point of view. Security is a anyway done in ip2 so that is a different factor.

Usually when application goes to ip2 most of the processing is done by that time so chances are rare of application getting rejected. Only if they observe something fishy about your documents and comes into notice they may recheck it. I would say 95% you are safe.

Guys I got this email from Ralphs office.


Dear ******- I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received June 1, 2018. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney.

Standard processing time is 6 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.


Congratulations – the file was approved Oct 18, 2018.

You will receive notification and instructions in the coming weeks.

Medicals are valid until ******.


My AOR was 1st June, ITA was 9th May. MEP was 14th June and IP2 was 18th October.

BUT NO PPR EMAIL yet.

Till last month it was real quick like within a week from ip2 to ppr, but this month has been quite slow so it’s difficult to predict exact time for the same. I believe you will have clear picture this week or latest by next week.

Ok. Have been told yesterday that assessments are complete, file is in queue for final review and decision. Only the power up above knows what that means and how long it will still take.

Yeah this is last step before sending PPR Email. After final review by officer they will trigger your PPR Email. I am unsure about the time it will take in the queue and to be reviewed by the officer.

Just relax and you will hear back soon.

Whats your VO? I am also in a similar situation. A lot of the recent IP2 seem to be in Nova Scotia and security not started yet.

Email him. I would rather call IRCC. He is a MP. I am not sure how and why this trend has started. Nevertheless, if he has no objection in doing so, pls. email him.
