think it is a ghost update, should not be a maintenance update, unless there is a glitch..i didnt get any updates, so...

Well that would be great because I have not gotten any movements on my file since June 19 which was they are processing my background check and will send a message if they need anything else

that status is nothing it will stay the same till you get PPR

Security checks is what everyone goes through, but security screening is only selected applicants and takes 6 months to a year or even more from the day it starts.

so how to be sure someone is under security screening?

I just recieved the PPR email again!!! I got it yesterday, and then again today.
Guess they really want me to become a permanent resident )

Any ideas? It’s the exact same email as yesterday!

yeah i too got a similar response today .....security and criminality is over .....the agent unsure about when ppr mail will be triggered...he says 6 months is the timeline ......but i believe that is their standard response.....anytime you can expect it .......maybe tomorrow...cheers

Our star member @Vitesze had a similar situation if I am not mistaken. I guess it is just a matter of time before you get your well deserved PPR.

hey guys i just got off the phone with ircc. they said my application has been approved but they’re still waiting to send the correspondence. i don’t know what that means. they said they still have time to send the email because my 6 month time ends on december 1. is anyone going through the same process ??

I haven’t called IRCC yet. I was contemplating on calling them Friday evening. But, looks like my application is in the same situation as yours coz I got my ghost update on the 22nd Oct - 4 days back.

My 6 month timeline ends on Dec 7th.
