Ghost Update!

I had not checked my CIC profile since past 6 days. But I couldn’t control myself today and checked it, it said, Application/profile update. Could this be a ghost update?

What is the stream and timeline and country of residence ?

I need a urgent help in submitting a web form. I applied my PR application online. While submitting a webform they are asking: Is your application being processed by office Outside Canada?

What should I answer to this question since I am not aware of my visa office since I applied online. Any urgent help is appreciated.

I answered "no" since I didn't know where my application was either being processed or going to be processed and since all applications start in Canada I chose no. In the response, they mentioned something about my info being forwarded to the responsible department although I have seen some cases where they ask the person to contact their VO directly and share the mail there so I guess you will be fine going with the inside Canada option rather than risking choosing the wrong VO.

Ghost update: 15th august
PPR: 17th august
Docs sent: 27th august
CoPR: 11th september

AOR june 4th, still IP1...called IRCC third time, same reply, file is in normal processing , eligibility check is not yet started, so technically nothing has started yet.....100 days....

I called on 4th September. Eligibility passed but background check still not started. Got the application well in line to be completed by December (6 months) standard response.

I am bit confused about IP1 / IP2 status. How do one know whether he is in IP1 or IP2? Is it strictly based on updates to account (and subsequently one receiving e-mail saying your account has been updated?) OR based on status shown in profile?

I have not received any updates to my account after medical passed however, my status is:

Review of eligibility-> We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results - > You passed the medical exam.
Background check -> We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision - > Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.
