Did anyone check their profiles after the progress bar email? I got the progress bar email early hours IST and I checked the profile now. It says profile updated. Was wondering if it is a 'ghost update' vs just an update due to the progress bar email

If we click on the 'processing times' in blue font, it takes us to another link and ultimately shows ' 6 months'.

The mail clearly specifies 'time elapsed since we recd ur application", and has not made specifics regarding progress /achievements/ transperancy on our files during this period, so although I don't think there's anything to be excited to await about on the 12th (other than ppr mails if they shoot it out), I definitely think that the immigration team is taking steps to streamline their process inorder to become more transparent and courteous with their immigration procedures unlike many other developed countries.

For the IMM008 you can ask anyone you know who has got their PPR to send the form to you.

Another approved case that didn't receive the e-mail, my theory may not be "completely false" afterall. Maybe just slightly exaggerated

I also think best approach would be to follow FIFO principle, atleast it would reduce anxiety and make people well aware about time it would take for completion.

Regarding progress bar, I think it would be standard one more like a counter, which would just show no of days completed. That would be a bizzare.

Just resubmit the documents that shows your husband worked in a maternity clinic during that period and write a LOE explaining in simple English so there's no confusion going forward. He/she might have just read "maternity" and completely misunderstood.

I think we’re likely to hit 2k as long as we keep coming back to the thread even after our PPRs. Hats off to @navinball for setting the right example And to @sid1987 too!!!

Thing is once we all (at least most of us) get our PPRs, engagement here will drop by at least 80%. Check the January and February threads to see what I'm saying.
So this thread reaching 2k is more of a negative than a positive. I'll rather we didn't and as a Christian, I'll like to say I reject it for us IJN!.

It’s more like all emails to me are blocked - no PPR and now no progress bar - literally in limbo
