Did you order gcms notes? I have orderd one and expecting to receive by next week. I wanted to see a written proof that my eligibility is recommded pass and what agent wrote about my employment letter. If I pass eligibility (which is likely if it is recommended pass) then one thing is sure that even if I am selected for security screening still i would know I will get my pr down the line.

Was thinking to order gcms notes but then thought to wait till 1st week of September..

Hello folks..
I just spoke with one of the agent. She was very polite and answered all my questions in a calm way.
I asked about eligibility status, and she said its recommended pass.
Criminality check has been passed also and security check is in process.
I asked about my VO and she said, I dont have any particular VO. My file is in Case processing Centre.
However, when I called last month, one of the agent said that my VO was Sydney NS.
So, on what stage I am now.?
If anyone could help me answer my question please .

I got a ghost update yesterday but haven't received my PPR email. Just curious, does having a ghost update always lead to good news? Have you noticed anyone that got rejected in the past had their rejections after ghost updates?

You need to stop panicking about rejections. Basically every post you mention "rejection". Ghost update can be just before PPR email, but doesn't have to. Just sit back and take it easy.

When is your aor my friend? I m 12 june, wondering whether my bg check started or not! I was told my visa office ottawa n eligibility recommended pass by a call center agent on 7th August. I m on cell phone so cant see your signature!

My eAOR is June 11. Still in IP1 stage. Different agents say different things. Not sure where am in at this stage?

Not exactly. Ghost updates are when there is any change made to your application by the agent but, there is no status update to show you. There are few more internal stages that our applications goes through but these stages are not mentioned in our cic accounts. hence, you receive an email but, don’t see any changes in your account. I got one in the last week of July but, still in IP1 as per my cic account status.
Having said that, a lot of people also get PPR after such updates.

FSW-O-India (VFS Delhi)

No GCMS notes ordered, no ghost updates, 1 ADR (PCC), Meds redone after expiry, no phone calls/emails to CIC, no agents/lawyers used.

Yeah I am praying everyday not to be in SS. But nothing we can do about it. If someone guranteed me last year, you will be Canadian PR within next 24 months then I would have happily waited out that time, so as long as I know I have passed eligibility I am happy with it.
I hope your security check gets done before my ppr. All the best.
