Yesterday I received a procedural fairness letter. Arnt these letters normally as i have read is when they are planning to refuse however they asked for proof of funds, RPRF and some job letters unrelated to the primary applicant...i am honestly really confused and this letter came over a month after I passed remedical
That's the thing all I got was the procedural fairness letter that contained request for POF, RPRF and some weird request for job contracts for which we don't get points for. So am a little confused as they made no claim that we misrepresented ourselves, were untruthful or didn't qualify for PPR. They stated to provide these documents before final decision.

They would not have asked for rprf and remed unless they were ready to finalize .. give them a week to two .. but you might get it before that
Good luck - hang in there
Actually I won’t be applying for visitor visa, since my sister is already a PR herself I would have to apply for TRV (Temp Resident Visa). But I’m yet to decide whether to apply or not because as per the latest call with agent (cic), he said that embassy has given a date of 30 September. So he has asked me to wait until that. So just holding off this TRV till then.

I think sid got confused here a bit, he referred to the tourist visa while giving the context. TRV is given for 10 yrs and the person can stay for 6 months max in one go. My parents already have this hence I can say with 110% surety.

TRV is a common term for any visa in canada . Then there are sub categories. Even if ur sister is PR , you still need TRV under visitor. Even on work permit u apply for TRV. Your sister being PR , does not make u elegible for anything special...when you will be apply for vistor it will still say TRV. But in ur visa stamp it will say which category of TRV it is
