I guess they have to pick up our file to work before they can decide on having enmity or friendliness. Last time they touched my file in 85 days so I have considered my own next due date of 19 Jan 19.

No not yet. I have ordered next one which is due in 1st week of Feb. I was just being sarcastic because last time they touched my file was on 26 Oct so 85th day is on 19 Jan

That was my fear too. But I'm quiet on whatsa** (as quiet as I can ever be...lol), so I'll still be here mostly.

As far as I know it can only be done at a border / port of entry. I may be wrong. And I think what @tobs said above makes more sense. In addition of activating your PR you may need a new SIN. From what I understand the starting digits for a PR SIN are different from a non PR SIN.

So there are two ways activating pr.

1. Flag poling
2. Getting appointment at ircc office

Now once ur copr is active you will get a new sin

Its a brand new sin, if u were on wp all sin start from 9 thats why it changes completely,

And once u have ur sin, that depicts u r pr

I checked with VFS in Abu Dhabi and they do not transmit to New Delhi. I have raised a CSE as well (apart from replying to NDVO yesterday), just to be sure that the matter is attended.
Now will wait for a few days till they issue from ADVO.

I hav also requested for VO change yesterday to NDVO and CC’d Ottawa. How long they usually take to send new ppr?
