June 2017 Citizenship Applicants - (pre C6 rule)

Seeking suggestion on child’s personal identification.

As per the Guide, two piece of identification required and one of them must have a photo.

I have health card but no photograph.
School record doesn't have photo and it doesn't show the middle name.

What are the other options? Please advise.

It is hard to answer your first question, but hope that it will take 3-5 months, so start preparing for your test bit by bit from the first day you submit your application.

In my daughter case, I've submitted her Health card and I asked the school to provide me with Index report card that includes her photo, this is in Ontario Carleton District School Board (OCDSB)

Thanks for your reply. In my school division, school doesn't provide anything with photo. I checked with school today. In some thread I notice that people are suggesting to add passport as one of the ID.

Anyone has idea when the forms are to be updated to reflect the changes that took effect immediately yesterday? most importantly, the "intent to reside"?

Already in process of updating all forms. By the end of the day, all forms will be updated.

One last thing is throwing me off here, and I hope someone can advise please.

My wife's Surname changed from "Jane Doe" to "Jane Rock" . She has an updated PR Card which has her new names "Jane Rock" but her confirmation of PR card still has her former name, "Jane Doe".

Now I am confused her she should complete the sections of the application form? What should she put on question 3.A knowing that her two immigration documents have two different surnames?

Question 3. B - Your current Name if different from above
Last Name

was with an immigration lawyer today, she advised I don't send my application until IRCC revise the forms bcz the officer will most probably return the old forms as they process them they'll be outdated. BTW similar thing happened to me during immigration application, they made me resubmit revised forms after a year. Weired !

Same here saying to update pdf but after that the form opened but it was the old form without any amendment. Only the instruction guide is updated
