My husband's application started being processed on June 24th and he receive his test invite today (issued July 13th).
The test is in 2 weeks in Edmonton, but we will be in BC on that date so he now needs to write a letter to change the date - I'm terrified that it means he's now going to have to wait months for a new test date
So hubby contacted CIC July 16th to advise that he could not attend the test and yesterday received a new letter with a test date of August 18th!!
The citizenship fairies are sprinkling magic dust all over this man!!!!

It's 31 days after our (family) application went IP, but no test invite letter yet. It took 31 days to receive AOR email. My CIC local office is SCARBOROUGH. Is that location taking their time or resting or experiencing too much workload?

same here, application went to IP on Jul 11th. I think sometimes it does take longer for family applications. Maybe they're just waiting for documents from CBSA or CRA or the person who are processing our files are on holiday. Hope we can get it soon. Let's just chill and enjoy the coming weekend.
I'm in Calgary, the weather has been miserable here for the past month, rain and thunderstorms everyday. This weekend supposed to be really nice, we can finally have a sunny break

I think it is a case to case basis. Also, yours is a family application and they have to complete all the necessary steps for each member before they send you the test invite letter. My local CIC office was Scarborough as well and it took 80 days (58 days excluding weekends and holidays). I applied in April 2016 and took oath in July 2016.
After all, all we can do is wait and hope that everything will go smoothly without any delays.
