Congrats...and to everybody who got their aor and approvals. Been away from the forum froM quite a while, was so happy cic is working on june applicants now. Patiently waiting for my turn, hoping for some good news soon.
As the doctor told him he would send everything required to the VO and there were no forms for him to take, we only included a literal receipt showing we paid (for both the medical and chest x-ray). It was done by one of the doctors on the CIC list. My partner has just called to request this and the lady on the phone told him the person who deals with these issues is on holiday, and as they no longer do medicals for Canadian immigration she is unsure where to locate the file (NIGHTMARE!). I am just worried that when we do track the file down, they will not be able to give us an original copy (which is what is required).
My suggestion is that immediately tell yr husband to perform another medical test and send the receipt to you ,so that u can send back to CIC...U need to do it fast, for faster approval... This is just my suggestion in order to avoid the delay in finding what happen etc etc ?

Thanks everyone for your input. We are heading down to the doctors today to see if we have better luck locating the form we need in person, and if no luck, we are booking the next available appointment (at a different doctor, as this one in no longer listed as a DMP by CIC.. makes me wonder if they have had issues with him in the past) and will just have to grit our teeth as we fork over another 270 pounds! Arg!

CIC updated the website... a whole long week has passed yet they only managed to cover 3 days from the last update: now processing 18th May applications...
I have a situation, hope someone could enlighten me, please:
I am actually singaporean and Australian PR applying for Canadian PR (spouse). I've been living in Sydney for the past 4 year so naturally i put Sydney office for my stage 2 application.
I read the Sydney office thread and realised someone there who was an Indian citizen and Australian PR, also initially putting Sydney office had his application transferred to New Dehli office because of his citizenship.
Now if my application gets transferred to Singapore office the wait would be 21 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I certainly don't want that happen, but what can i do if that happens?
And at the meantime, I have been approved for Australian citizenship. Since Singapore doesn't allow dual citizenship it means I will have to give up my S'pore passport once my Australian citizenship takes place - i'm still waiting for DIAC to schedule my citizenship ceremony but it hasn't been scheduled. Should I write to Sydney visa office once my stage 1 is approved to hold on to my files in Sydney because I will give up my S'pore passport very soon? will it work that way?
