Hi all, new to this forum and very pleasantly surprised by it. Started reading quite a few threads...such a helpful community!

We filed our application 1/06 and my husband just received AOR two days back Grateful to Mississauga office for speedy work.

Hoping for a fast process now..though i doubt it noting New Delhi's progress...

I checked the online system for a status the day she received it but no joy and tried it a few days later and was able to see my name and status as application received We are applying through the London Office. She has been in Ireland since May 2009 so we are applying as common law partners.

It can take up to 91 days to receive AOR. They are working on April 17th and beyond, so it will take a relatively long time for them to get through to June add 91 days to the date your application is sent and that should give you a guideline.

yeah the problem though is they stared working backwards in May so they are on May 17th approximately and a few June 1st have received AOR's as well....so CIC is just messing people up.......it is one thing to see a steady approach to your application date but when they are jumping all over like they are doing now it just puts everybody on edge.....and then on top of that they have been extremely slow this week......regardless of vacation/summer time....this week was painfully slow for those waiting........so here's really really hoping next week is so much better....

Hi kJG, Do u think the few who have gotten AORS will be getting approval shortly?

I would hope within two weeks of those receiving aor's they would get approval........still seems to be a mixture of approvals going out by email and snail mail and I am not sure who makes the call on that.......since all aor's go out by email........

Well people are still waiting from April so in answer to your question, yes prepare for that maybe. It maybe sooner fingers crossed, I benefitted from CIC's crazy backwards approval but half of April are left to be processed and half of May as well. So there is approximately 30 days worth of applications before June will be seen too.

However as KJG said you never know what they are up to and whose application they will open next but mid to late April are under a lot of stress and the early May applicants are far from happy and rightly so.

I just read that somebody from got Approval/AOR from May thread and the email says that they received it on June 4th so seems like they might be working on June also....
