While I was reading this thread from the start, I came across this quote from you, which worried me a lot. My total points are 68 but I scored in the ielts 5.5. Do you think my english score can get me in a problem, or the visa officer may reject my application because of it?
Replied:
Yes, that's a below borderline score... Dangerous.
CIO doesn't "assess" our case...
They just check the completeness of the application & supporting docs & see if the NOC is correct - then issue PER/NER. It is the VO who performs anything & everything thereafter.
5.5 might not necessarily cause a rejection - but makes our case very weak, which could double-up as a detrimental tweak if the IO finds other issues.
Dear friend
i am in a deep trouble. i have got my PER in November but my IELTS score is 5.5 and my overall score for immigration purpose is 67. do u think tht my application will get rejected at the VO stage. whts ur opinion.
Why don't you try taking IELTS exam again? But you have to seriously review your English knowledge or take classes to make a big change. You have time, I do not see any changes or move in the queue at least before 5-6 months, especially because you are a London CHC applicant.
Developer BR...................big and heartiest congratulation from My Side............i still remember when you were waiting for your PER and worrying so much but we find it with in a days when we talk and you are one of those forum member who join this thread at initial stage and i really wish you all the best and hope you will always post at the thread and make it alive for newcomers............
