Hi God's Grace, congratulations on completing the Medicals. Confirmation of medical exam is what the DMP sends out to medical centre of CIC. The form you were given I'd perhaps for your reference. I have seen in this forum that some people send a copy of the med receipt to VO as well. You can always drop VO an e-mail if you are unsure of something. All the best!

I was maintaining some balance in my bank account as Proof of Funds. Now, when I have got MR,RPRF and PP request.
Can i use bit of this money for RPRF DD.
And one more question. I am from New Delhi and My wife is currently is in maternal house which is in Chandigarh. Can I go there and get the medicals done with her.
@ Vikas,
You can take some of the money and use as RPRF, as it is highly unlikely that they wi request for POF now. However ensure that you have the the POF at the point of entry as per CIC instructions.
Regarding Medicals, you can both do it with any designated doctor in your country. Follow the link to DMPs in your country. So you can do it in your wife's region so far as the DMP is on the CIC list.

How does the immigration officer at the port of entry check POF.. should we carry the funds as required cic regulations or show it in our account and some of it in our hand...

Actually from reading people's landing experiences, officers dont really count the money, they just ask how much one is carrying. Some were not asked at all! I just wanted Vikas to be on the safe side by carrying the correct amount in the form of draft, cash etc. Hope this helps. Mandie

Nope..meds are sent directly to CIC by the doctor, your postage cost is included in the fee, that is why it is so expensive ( at least where I am ). You would be issued a receipt for your reference.
