I want to say my frnd application was applied paper based . He want to link online to check the status . When he will link paer based to online . . Will he able to see update immediately or they will mail in cic account after few days .

For me, it got updated right after I linked my application. Got an email saying that my application has been linked also right away.

Just wanted to share that with the help of bangalore office who has delayed my visa and my college which has denied any extension, I won't be able to attend my college in this sept intake.

Feeling shattered and helpless.

I linked my application 20 days back, it just says - no data available.

If there were updates already in his application, he will see the updates right away. If not, he should check it regularly! He will get an email once they make a final decision. I repeat he won't get emails for every update.

If it is updated beforehand then it'd display, but if it's not, it'd just say that you don't need any medical exam.

You can't really find the time of the updates. That's why I said you have to check it regularly. If it was already updated when you linked the application, you can't really know the date of those updates.

So sorry to hear that . Try to not spend too much time being sad. Apply at some other course for January intake. If you get your study permit approved late, hopefully you will be able to join in January. You just have to change the designated learning institution. I do not know exactly how it is done, but hopefully someone who has done that will help. All the best friend.

My college has given an alternate date of joining in Jan but still all the trauma we go through and get nothing at the end is painful. No idea what I am going to do till december

Dont feel so sad friend if u get visa till 6 or 7 just go one week classes missed will not effct that much in my opinion

Bro when it is starting . ? Denied extnsn doesnt mean u can get absent for 2 or 3 days . They are not going to help u with lecture u missed but if a person gets sick he cn be absent for some days
