I'm a CEC applicant with July 11 as the AOR.

Medicals passed: 25th August
BG Status was " we are processing your application" and then changed to NA after one day.
Addtional Docs: The additional docs are being reviewed(although i didnt provide any)

Wondering what stage i'm in .

I was a bit worried that it would take longer because I had to send in my USA FBI PCC after the AOR, but after it was sent in, the process went rather quickly.

Yes.. It has been a PPR day. My friend has e AOR of July 14th and there has been no change in the profile since then. He received PPR request yesterday. His background check is yet to be start as per the profile status.

How much time it takes them to return the passport once we send it to Canada for PPR?

I am an FSW Inland applicant. My timeline is below:

July 05 2017: AOR
July 20 2017: Medical Passed and IP1 (application in progress)
NA2 was skipped
Aug 17 2017: IP2 (BG in Progress)
Aug 25 2017: Additional docs updated to No additional documents needed

I have been in an assumption that I am in IP2 until now and have been waiting for PPR every day.

But today when I contacted CIC they informed that my application is at CPC Ottawa and that my eligibility is ongoing and security check has not started.

I am really confused about the status of my application. Any insights on this is much appreciated.

Hi,
I got my AOR on 1 st July. I have not received any update in my cic account. I see many applicant have medicals done. BTW I am applying from within Canada.
I got lot of travel history and got 3 dependants (one of which is US citizen and other one is Canadian).
Does any of these things matter to have timeline for the application processing. Please let me know if it is normal?

July 24 AOR; BGS said NA (so I'm assuming it is NA1)
July 28 (morning) Medicals passed and IP1 "We are processing your background check" (this is the usual wording at IP2)
July 28 (afternoon) NA (so I am assuming it's NA2)
2 dependents who are not in Canada

I am hoping to progress in IP2 soon.
