my medical updated passed on 14 nov. tracker shows all passed except BGC...by call I got to know info sharing passed criminality passed security pending...last week agent told it was not started...any idea folks like how long it takes from here on an average...Thanks a lot!

I'd say you should be having your FD either before the holiday season kicks in or maximum early January! Hoping you'd get it soon enough!

there was a ghost update, bg changed from "we are processing your bg check" to "your application is in progress" what does that mean? no email received. New tracker is updated from eligibility "not started" to "in progress" and background same "in progress". anyone knows if this is positive sign??

Any sort of update should be taken positively! It means they are working on your file! One step closer!
 
The wait feels endless, like a "doom-like silence." Still no news—any updates on new eCOPRs? Is there any hope for October P2 applicants? My timeline:

  • P1: October 4, 2024
  • P2: October 25, 2024
Hoping for some clarity soon!

Over the last two days, I have tried everything to follow up on my ECOPR. I sent separate emails/replies to P1 and P2 regarding the status. I also reached out to my Member of Parliament, who directed me to their PA. The PA provided a form to fill out, which I completed promptly. However, the response remains the same: "Be patient and wait."

Yeah at this point, literally nothing can be done other than waiting! Even IRCC confirmed that at this final stage it's just a wait game and nothing can be done to be expedited! :(
