Nothing applied july 13 and got pre arrival on sep 19 and pa approved oct 5 and after that nothing yet

Just received AOR today (6 Sep 2023). Application submission date July 13, 2023.

My spouse and child is currently in visitor visa. valid upto november. should i apply for OWP or extension of visitor? can they stay after November if i apply for wife's OWP?

where will I get updates regarding my application? Tried linking it to my gckey but says my application cannot be found. Maybe I tried to link it a bit too early? Or will the updates regarding my medical request and every other thing be sent to me via email?

Well, if your application is within the current processing time of 10 months, MP’s office will not be of much help.

September 11th got letter for biometrics COMPLETE
September 13th got letter for exam COMPLETE
September 14th eligibility COMPLETE
September 20th all but background verification COMPLETE
background verification nov 29th background check COMPLETE
but also got a letter asking for a police certificate for Nicaragua, although we submitted the certificate of Spain. spouse hasn't lived in Nicaragua since 2016. Noticed on the application history on the same date, background check was complete and certificate received? do Is till submit the certificate from Nicaragua? anyone encounter this?

Did spouse live in Nicaragua for more than 6 months back then? If so IRCC can request police certificate. 2016 is only 7 years ago.

yes he did, we have requested and will send it in. better safe than sorry.
