Hey Man, you got e-certificate on the same day of Oath/Ceremony? What time was your ceremony at?

that's awesome......which office generated e-certificate? I'm just factoring the time zone! It looks if they do in the morning, they can actually generate on the same day!

And, we don't get notification when it is ready to download, do we? We just have to keep checking, right?

Vancouver office - you don't get a notification. I checked after every 2 hours and by 8 PM it was there

the interview letter says "INVITATION TO A VIDEO INTERVIEW WITH A CITIZENSHIP OFFICIAL AND
VERIFICATION OF IDENTITY/DOCUMENTS" I will put in an update after I complete the interview

when is your interview. my partner also got a Notice for interview scheduled for Nov 24th

My spouse applied her Citizenship on July 06,2023 by online and next day she went to India. Received AOR in Aug 08. After that no updates. Not sure why. She will return Canada on next April 2024 only.If IRCC allow her to take test and Oath from India.
Looking for your advises.

Taking the test from outside of Canada is permitted but it will make the application non-routine. This will cause a massive delay in processing.

Taking oath from outside of Canada is limited to very few cases. It is best to assume, she has to be present in Canada for the oath irrespective if it is vitual or in-person.
