She should expect the AoR soon...end of July applicants (paper based) are receiving them this week...

This is where you'll get updates online.

People will have to log in here to check updates. You'll need to enter any identification regarding your application status, like UCI or Application Number, Receipt Number and fill out all other information like birthday, last name, Country of birth.

Note that you can only access ECAS if you already received your AOR. Same thing with the new website.

ohh.. I did get the email to sign in/make an account (using UCI # and application #) on the application tracker to see the progress of my application.. is it the same thing??

I guess so! I think there are different formats they send out to applicants, but as long as you're given the UCI or application # addressing your application, that should be it.

Need some input on web form.

There are 2 ways

(1) https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application/Form/69
or
(2) https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

I used 2nd one twice to get my application number as I never got AOR with the application number. But I came to know about my application when I checked on old ecas and got an email from them to register on the new tracker.

But I got a standard reply twice from 2nd option that they are processing Afgan refugees files & urgent matters. Turn around time is very quick when used 2nd option.

Does anyone use 1st option & give me some timeline on a reply from them?

Finally got my Application number by calling them.

It shows In-Progress on top and In Progress status on Language Skills/Backg verification/Physical Presence/Prohibitions.

Please update tracker ..AOR received on 15 Oct 2021 and In Progress ( As of today`s date)
